The Computer Society of Sri Lanka has been playing a major role in promoting Information Technology and Professionalism among those engaged in the fields of IT in the country for the past 32 years. The rapid growth of CSSL in the recent years indicates a greater interest among the IT professionals in the affairs of the society.

Vision & Mission

Vision:

The Vision of the Society shall be “to be the most esteemed ICT Professional Body” in Sri Lanka. 

Mission: 

The Mission of the Society shall be – 

(a) to maintain the highest professional standards among the Information and Communication Technology (ICT ) fraternity; 

(b) to contribute to the development of the ICT industry whilst safeguarding the interests of the members of the Society; 

(c) to be actively involved in the formulation of National Policies relating to ICT ; and 

(d) to promote the advancement of knowledge of those engaged in the field of ICT
